No więc próbuję zrobić paczkę #Gentoo dla #uv, tej "przyszłości" instalowania paczek Pythona (czytaj: wynalezienia koła na nowo w Ruście). Doświadczenia, póki co:
1. Brak wolnej przestrzeni. Wygląda na to, że do budowania potrzeba 8G.
2. Testy nie działają bez dostępu do Internetu. Bo czemu nie…

so, there is this this space filling curve called a Gosper curve, which got some neat property like forming a fractal island that can tile the plane.
however, the best part of it is that it's also called a flowsnake 😃.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gosper_c

a space filling you made of line segments connected with 1/3 turn and 1/6 turn angles forming an intricate, 'snaking' and 'flowing' pattern. the outer contour resembles a roughed up hexagon or six sided star, or snowflake.

colors are inverted and shadows are added for better visibility and to look cooler 😏

I have a longtime habit of abruptly making a flurry of clicking/popping sounds with my mouth as a way of expressing feelings, fulfilling a similar function to swearing, for example.
However, now that I'm going to college I've been struggling with occasionally starting to do this and then catching myself once I register what's happening. I can't tell if other people aren't bringing it up just to be nice, or really if my feelings of embarrassment are rational. What…

I loathe Paul Tierney as much as anyone, but the "controversy" around the wrongful awarding of the drop ball after a head injury is some serious blame-shifting from a team who had possession a full two-minutes later and coughed up the ball at the edge of the box to even allow the game-winner.
As many have pointed out, the more incompetent decision on the very same play is ignoring Yates' extremely reckless attempt. I would like to understand any VAR review on that.

Video game still of Liu Kang performing a flying kick in Mortal Kombat. He is shirtless, with black and red pants and is yelling as he flies five feet off the ground towards Reptile.
Alexis Mac Allister, in purple, heads the ball away. Just behind him, Nottingham Forest's captain, Ryan Yates, is flying in with his leg well above-the shoulders of the standing players. He collides with Konate who is trying to shield himself from the impact.

I laid around and was lazy most of the day yesterday due to not feeling well with a massive headache majority of the day.
It finally went away late yesterday afternoon, then came back a couple of hours later so I went to bed with a headache and once again, woke up with a headache again today.

Uuugh … the kubernetes server decided to update all its node machines at once, resulting in every damn service restarting, resulting in me getting very thoroughly woken up by „everything is on fire“ alarms.
Everything is fine, all services came back online by themselves 🙄
Gonna go back to bed 😴 ninight

Lots of notifications about failing TelemetryDeck services

This carved limestone relief depicts two warriors striding to the right, one wearing a broad traveler's hat called a petasos and the other a Corinthian helmet. Each wears a short cloak called a chlamys over his left arm (now missing on the righthand warrior). The left warrior looks back, perhaps toward a horseman, since a small fragment of a horse’s foreleg remains behind his knee. The strong diagonals of the warriors contrasted with the flowing drapery of their cloaks demonstrates a dynamism c…

I grabbed the second in the Midsolar Murders series, “Chaos Terminal,” because the first was pleasant and a space murder mystery seemed fun.
The editing was so poorly done that I had to keep re-reading entire sections, my mental image of a crime scene or interview blown up by it.
These images are spoilers, obviously. If you look…
1. Where is Reggie?
2. When does Mallory stand?
3. Is she talking *to* or *about* Parker?
And I only started taking pics at the end…

Reggie went back into the bathroom; Parker went to ask the bartender. Draughn stood with Amy, Max, and Reggie, then started moving around the room. Finding the body would look sudden and unintentional, he decided. He found the little closet.
"I don't think you have motive to kill me," Mallory said. "Although sometimes people kill when someone gets too close to the truth." She stood up and dropped Amy's hand. "Dammit. I had to talk to someone. And you're the only one who gets the a Parker thing."
"I still can't believe you could think that one of your oldest friends could do that. I can't believe that you'd drop that bomb on Parker and then leave him alone."
Mallory stood up, feeling a thousand years old. "These are reasons why I …
"Third, when the Cuckoos came to protect you, they left Amy alone and stung Draughn. I thought they left her alone because she was your sibling and an honorary member of the hive, but I don't think it had anything to do with her. Draughn was the murderer, and Parker thought he was in danger as well, so they swarmed to protect him, but they also attacked the person they thought was attacking one of their own. They've known all along who did it."
"I still don't know-" Parker said.
